e.service® Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)   
 
e.service® Electronic Funds Transfer is a timely and cost-effective way to transfer pre-authorized payments from the bank account of a credit counseling client to the bank account of a credit counseling agency using the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. It is perfect for recurring payments and also works well for one-time payments. Recurring ACH payments keep clients on track with their debt management programs and increase their odds for success.

During an initial set up, a start date for a client payment plan is entered. After that, a recurring payment takes place as scheduled until changed or cancelled. Payment amounts and ending dates may be modified as clients near the end of their payment plans. There are no lost checks or late payments with ACH reducing the potential aggravation for everyone. Manual payment posting is also reduced since Vanco payment files can be imported right into the software programs used by most credit counseling agencies.
 
Debit Card Processing: Accept debit cards for both recurring and one-time payments.
 
 
e.service® Merchant Services with Debit Card Filter   
 
Credit counseling clients can't use credit cards but they can and will use debit cards. That's why Vanco's e.service® Merchant Services with Debit Card Filter is a popular option for credit counseling clients who use it to make both one-time and recurring payments. The debit card filter can distinguish the difference between a debit card number and a credit card number and will permit the processing of a debit card but not a credit card. This important feature allows credit counseling agencies to confidently accept payment cards over the telephone and in other card-not-present situations.

After obtaining client authorization, an agency can use e.service® Merchant Services with Debit Card Filter to create a client payment plan that includes the plan's payment amount and starting date. A payment end date may also be entered initially or you can simply cancel the payment plan when completed. Payment amounts and ending dates can be modified as clients near the end of their payment plans. Recurring payments automatically take place as scheduled eliminating the need to re-enter the card number and transaction amount each time a payment is due.
